Greetings Multisporters,

Wow, what an epic day of racing we had just over a week and a half ago.  The weather couldn't have been more perfect, and judging from the feedback received to date, everyone enjoyed the new venue and courses! We're already making plans to return to YMCA Camp Pine Crest in 2012.....start training!

Results and pictures have been posted on the
homepage of our website.  A big thanks to Randy from MySportsShooter.com for capturing over 1700 images at the event.  Check out their website, as I'm sure there are pictures of almost everyone.

For a great video review, check out Stephan Myer's production for Get Out There Magazine, which does a fantastic job of capturing the essence of the race.

Finally, my apologies to anyone who veered off-course during this year's event. It seems a few made wrong turns at two specific junctions where the "Championship" and "Pine Crest" courses merged.  I also understand people had trouble following the trail in the wide-open barrens section.  Next year we'll have marshal's stationed at those critical junctions, plus we'll be working with the local municipality to improve the permanent markings on the barrens trails making them easier to follow.

Congratulations to all participants, finishers and place-getters I hope you enjoyed a great day in the Canadian back-country.  Feedback is always welcome, so feel free to email me at: info@logsrocksandsteel.com anytime.
